This is a jazz magazine from 1946 called Hot-Revue Number 12. It features Benny Carter on the front cover in color. The magazine is in very nice condition for its age with yellowing on a few pages. There are 40 pages in all. The magazine is written in French and was produced in Switzerland
and was one of the most popular jazz magazines of its time.
The magazine was 11 1/2" x 8".
It features photos and articles of many great jazz artists including: Benny Carter, Fats Waller, Louis Armstrong, Don Redmann, Peter Clarke, Quentin Jackson, Tyree Glenn, Ray Abrams, Billy Taylor, Peanuts Holland, Buford Oliver, Don Byas, Paul Joy Orchestra, Mareo Junod, and Inez Cavanaugh.
